Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received an Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. It reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, he became part of Ozuna on his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina the next year. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a product of a household of music both his parents are musicians. According to Turizo, music was a fundamental part of his life. In his childhood he was taught to play guitar, the piano and the ukulele. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his the direction of his career.
