Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional, old boleros and the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music at an early age with her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a scholar and professional. When she moved into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions and performs the traditional Latin American Music. Passion and enthusiasm in music, art and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
